Battery charging from the grid based on forecasted grid import:
- If the current spot price is lower than the forecasted grid import costs during more expensive hours, the battery storage is charged accordingly.
- Battery storage losses and potential profit are taken into account to ensure that the charging session remains economical.
Battery charging from the grid during very low electricity prices:
- If the current spot price, including all surcharges, is lower than the feed-in tariff, the battery storage is charged from the grid. This increases profit.
- Here, too, battery storage losses are taken into account to ensure maximum efficiency.
