With PUMP, you can conveniently document your electric vehicle charging sessions and bill them to your employer. This solution is free of charge for private charging stations with up to three charging points.
What is PUMP Connect?
PUMP provides an interface for integrating your wallbox. Control commands are transmitted between our app, PUMP Connect, and your wallbox via the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). OCPP enables you to monitor, control, configure, and bill charging sessions.

Requirements
Before you start the setup, ensure that:
- Your wallbox is connected to the internet and the latest firmware updates are installed.
- The OCPP backend of your wallbox is activated.
- You have access to your wallbox configuration.
Step-by-step instructions
1. Registration with PUMP
- Visit PUMP Login and create a user account.
2. Connecting the wallbox to PUMP
- Open the configuration interface of your wallbox.
- Connect your wallbox to PUMP via OCPP.
- You can find the required configuration details at PUMP.
3. Copy and paste the OCPP URL
- Add a new wallbox in our app and select PUMP as the manufacturer.
- Copy the displayed OCPP URL.
4. Completing the PUMP setup
- Return to the PUMP configuration.
- Go to the menu item Setup -> clever-PV Plugin.
- Paste the copied OCPP URL and save the settings.
5. Verifying the connection
- After a few minutes, your wallbox should be available in our app.
- The wallbox will be displayed in the dropdown menu under the OCPP URL.
6. Finalizing settings
- Configure the remaining wallbox settings in our app.
- Save the wallbox configuration.
